| Marlin International Association is
dedicated to the many captains, mates, anglers, conservation groups, sportfishing
publications and manufacturers who make this great sport possible for everyone to
enjoy. Without all of us working together the most exciting sport in the world could
not survive.
Marlin
International Association's purpose is to make this great sport even better by:
 Establishing in the
eyes of the sportfisherman that Billfishing is one of the greatest sports in the world. |

| Promoting an open
communications system to and between bluewater captains, mates and anglers who fish the
world's sportfishing grounds in search of billfish. |

| Publishing coverage
of billfish tournaments, world record catches, newest equipment and the latest techniques
to catch these exciting fish. |

| Encouraging the
release of non-trophy billfish by acceptable methods, thereby insuring the resource and
the sport of billfishing for future generations. |

| Encouraging the
competitive spirit of man against man, boat against boat, and man against fish at the
highest possible levels. |

| Serving as the
spokesman for billfishermen world wide. |
